• Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi
By statute, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi is the ideal continuation of the Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi, which was established in 1844 by a partnership and registered as a non-profit organization.

Palazzo Bisaccioni and the Case Galvani Complex
For several years now, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi has decided to play an active role in the conservation and promotion of the region’s artistic heritage.
When Alessandro Ghislieri promoted the establishment of the Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi in 1844, he had already decided that its seat would be in the old Palazzo Bisaccioni, which was built in 1527 and was located in one of the most relevant piazzas in the historical centre of Jesi.
Palazzo Bisaccioni, together with the Case Galvani Complex, are now cultural community centres that organise temporary and permanent exhibitions, conferences, training activities targeted on an ever-broader, diversified, active and co-creative public.

•  Ancient and modern art

Collection of ancient and modern art
In 2005, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi decided to build a permanent exhibition space inside Palazzo Bisaccioni which, after important restoration works, gave the opportunity to exhibit to the public the works in its collection, which mainly consisted of 17th century paintings.
The first floor of Palazzo Bisaccioni hosts ancient works of art, the most outstanding of which are the paintings by Carlo Cignani, Francesco Da Ponte, Raffaellino Del Colle, Guercino and Giorgio Vasari.
The collection mostly comprises paintings from different historic periods and schools, acquired over the years through donations, purchases or temporary loans.
Thanks to an annual project set up by the Foundation, whose aim is to protect and enhance the region's artistic heritage, the collection of ancient art has been enriched over the years with local artworks restored with the Foundation's contribution and displayed in temporary exhibitions in the Halls of Palazzo Bisaccioni.

•  Contemporary art

Exhibition hall, ground floor
One of the Foundation's main projects is to organise and set up painting, sculpture, photography exhibitions and other expressive techniques in the main exhibition hall on the ground floor of Palazzo Bisaccioni.

Temporary exhibition hall
The Foundation selects exhibition projects for which it grants another exhibition space dedicated to hosting temporary exhibitions, personally curated by the artists.

Collection of Contemporary Art
The second floor displays artworks from the 20th century, prevalently by artists born in Jesi and in Le Marche, the most important of whom are Orfeo Tamburi, Betto Tesei, Eugenio Azzocchi, Raul Batocco, Edmondo Giuliani, Ezio Bartocci, Valeriano Trubbiani and Aldo Moriconi.

The Vault and the Coin Collection
The Vault, whose presence indicates that this was once the headquarters of the Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi (CRJ), testifies to the great importance that the CRJ had in supporting local development. Opening to the public a space that confidentially guarded people’s precious objects and documents, has given the possibility of admiring the impressive Treasure Vault, the safes of the time, and the collection of coins and banknotes of the Italian Republic.
